GHR is committed to meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA so that every member, including older and less technical users, can use this platform independently.
Measures in place
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page
- A skip-to-content link and full keyboard navigation
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Labels on every form field, with errors announced to assistive technology
- Status communicated with text and icons, never colour alone
- Colour contrast meeting WCAG 2.1 AA
- Text that scales without loss of content or functionality
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Large touch targets and mobile-first forms
Ongoing work
Accessibility is reviewed as new features are added. Automated checks and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing are part of the release process.
